Clear this text in your text editor and write a short paragraph about yourself, where you work, what you do, etc. HTML ignores carriage returns, spaces and tabs, etc. To have a second paragraph, separated from the first by white space, we will need to use the paragraph break tag as follows:

This is a second paragraph. Here, you can add additional information about yourself. Later, we will add a LIST that will outline your interests and/or hobbies etc. When you have finished, save your work to disk (in a directory or folder called HTML), with the file name "home.html" on the Mac or "home.htm" under Windows.
